Our belief in how we should live as disciples comes from scripture as seen in Acts 2:42 -47
WE ARE COMMITTED TO SPENDING TIME WITH JESUS EVERY DAY. WE STAY ROOTED IN HIS WORD, LETTING IT SHAPE OUR HEARTS AND LIVES. A HEALTHY CHURCH STARTS WITH A HEALTHY DISCIPLE, AND THAT BEGINS WITH DAILY TIME IN HIS PRESENCE.
WE GROW TOGETHER, NOT ALONE. WE SHOW UP FOR ONE ANOTHER, BUILDING REAL RELATIONSHIPS THAT GO BEYOND SUNDAYS. THE CHURCH ISN'T A PLACE WE ATTEND; IT'S A FAMILY WE BELONG TO.
PRAYER IS OUR FIRST RESPONSE, NOT OUR LAST RESORT. WE PRAY BOLD PRAYERS BECAUSE WE SERVE A BIG GOD WHO STILL DOES MIRACLES. PRAYER CHANGES US, BUILDS OUR FAITH AND IS THE LIFELINE OF A DISCIPLE.
WE LIVE OPEN-HANDED BECAUSE JESUS GAVE EVERYTHING FOR US. WE GIVE OUR TIME, TALENTS, AND TREASURE TO BUILD GOD’S KINGDOM AND BLESS OTHERS. GENEROSITY ISN’T SOMETHING WE DO; IT’S WHO WE ARE.
EVERY DISCIPLE HAS ONE MISSION: TO MAKE CHRIST KNOWN. WE DON’T KEEP THE GOSPEL TO OURSELVES—WE SHARE IT THROUGH OUR WORDS, OUR ACTIONS, AND OUR LIVES. WHEREVER WE GO, WE CARRY THE HOPE OF JESUS TO A WORLD THAT NEEDS HIM.
Meet Our Pastors
Sam & Taylor Hamstra founded Anthem Church in March of 2020 with a vision & heart to lead people to know Christ & make Him known.
Over the past few years, they have seen this mission become a reality as Anthem Church has grown into a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, family made up of thousands of people from all walks of life from Northwest Indiana, Chicagoland, & beyond.

Sam, Taylor, and their sons, Daniel & Jaxxon, live in Northwest Indiana.
